When you are investing in a new septic installation, you likely know you will need to deal with a certain amount of disruption in your yard or elsewhere on your property while the new septic installation is being put in, but what exactly is the process? Keep reading to learn more about what you can expect.

What to Expect From a New Septic Installation

  • Removing your old system. This step is only necessary if you already have a septic tank on your property. But if, for whatever reason, your old septic system needs to be replaced, your old system will have to go so that we can put the new septic installation in.
  • Excavating the area. Whether you are replacing an old septic tank or are getting one for the first time, we will need to dig dirt out of the chosen area to make room for the new septic system. With a new system, there will be no hole to begin with, and we will have to dig it out from scratch. However, even in the case of removing an old one, soil is likely to shift and require removal.
  • Putting in the new system. We will put in your new septic tank and make sure that all the appropriate pipes are connected to your home.
  • Testing and examination. Before we put your yard back the way it was, we make sure that nothing is broken, cracked, or liable to leak. We also test to make sure that the pipes are working as they should.

For more questions about the process, you will be more than welcome to ask the leader of the team on-site.
